i just read the papers and all this debate about zhang ziyi playin a geisha is the ultimate SILLY. ok....so she's playin the role of a geisha getting toyed by the jap, but this is acting. =_= it's not like she's converted into a geisha and wants to hook on only japs.

someone even commented that killing zhang is not enough. like, where's his logic? can't they tell how zhang is bringing fame to china as one of the few asian faces to make it big in hollywood? i can understand where they're coming from, seeing that spore was also invaded by the jap, but those babarians are dead. full stop.

what are they afraid of? that the ghosts of jap invaders would come mock them in their dreams? the ghosts wld probably know better than to waste their time. i think they'd just float to the theatres and enjoy a good movie adaptation from a good book.
