xD ok, so basically we just learn stuff, then we get assigned animation to do, then we just have a ton of fun, and then we animate and animate and animate, and eat icecream or fruits or wadever's in the pantry tat day :D hurhur. AWESOME.

i'm so glad i'm not some clerk or something. who'd be excited abt typing all day?! but when u're moving stuff all day, u're making some trooper aliveee, NOW THAT'S AWESOME EXCITING. ok, so my vocab is limited but u get the idea. haha.

wells, toy & comic convention yesterday at suntec was pretty awesome for all its mini sculptures and toys :D and i've started to really fall in love with starwars lego toys. i think it's this thing about working there that i've started to get into this starwars madness phase. maybe i'll get a darthmaul lego keychain with my first pay! huahua. they have some pretty cool ones at Simply Toys at Suntec.

1] What's your favorite anime at the present time?

Erm i haven't watched any in a long time, but peace maker was good when i saw it a few yrs ago (:


2] Given the chance, what special ability/power would you like to have?

FLY ! and to be able to do super animation at lightning speed and eat a lot and never grow fat! :D


3] How do you think about yourself?

I'm not exactly what my face says i am. i'm a little louder, a little geekier, a little sweeter, and much more short tempered than wad mr face says i am.


4] Where is the place that you want to go the most?

it's between greece and japan and prague.


5] If you can have 1 dream to come true, what would it be?

hmm...to be married happily ever after and to be a character animator at lucasfilm/blueskies/dreamworks/pixar till old age then go to heaven where there's really awesome bar chor mee & mango smoothie when i die. yes, I have ridiculously detailed dreams.


6] Do you have a crush now?

Yes! It's Obi-wan! He's so cool when he says "So uncivilized." in ep III. lol!


7] What are you afraid to lose the most now?

Probably my family, friends and then my job.


8] If you win $1 million, what would you do?

I would...buy us a new house so i can have my own room and not have to share with my brother, then buy an ipod and a macbook and some clothes and buy everyone i love a nice dinner.

a glimpse of my evening yesterday (: .

(very humid) zoo!

hurhur. you'd think i'd have had enough of the zoo from all the drawing trips there, but nah. Animals are just like us, they change.

so cos sq had free tickets cos he's a blood donor, we got to go in for freeee! :D and this time i caught the animal shows! something i never got to do on drawing trips. I won't upload much of my photographs, just a few of those worth a mention.

like the butterflies in the fragile forest!!! my goodness, they're so tame. they land all over you and you can even coax them onto your finger, which we did.
and it was very rewarding cos i got to take this picture!

look at its eyes 0_O my goodness. there are like flower patterns in there!
and it's really ticklish having it stand on your finger cos it keeps using its 'tongue', which is the long thing you see sticking out between its eyes to tickle you.

i think it's mistaken that we're sweet. or maybe it likes salty o_o.
which reminds me, it's the first time i drank Pocari Sweat ytd. i always had the thought that it mite be salty (must be the horrible naming) so i nv really dared. well, i declare it safe to drink, it tastes just like h-two-o.

and this fantastic lemur which gamely posed for us and let us stroke him.

the white tigers were majestic as usual, lazily swinging their huge paws ard as they walked, shoulder blades arched and muscles rippling *_* you can feel the POWER radiating out of them.

and the hippos! looking all zen and cool while we were all perspiring in the extreme humidity behind their glass panels.

and hahaha. this monkey. he tried to snatch our entire plastic bag of breadtalk bread from sq! hahaha. i wont forget how he just sprung out and ran to us and forcefully grabbed our bag.
here he's trying to show us where to go (: so small so cute and so dangerous. lol.

:D and mega thanks to sq for running all the way to cheers to get me a new pair of slippers after my faithful leather ones just snapped and died.

Dear leather slippers, you have served me well for 3+ yrs, so i guess it really was time i laid you to rest in the zoo's dustbin.
Goodbye leather slippers :( ...

HOHOHO. i've been delaying for a long long long time regarding setting up a sketch/art blog. because i just don't feel blogger or wordpress is really up to it.

THEN I FOUND IT TODAY. :D :D :D as i was browsing ard artist's blogs as usual, i found the perfect host.

so here it is, finally. MY ART BLOG :D.


it's simple, it's clean and white and pristine, it's easy to customize without clearing out the shit from all the free (but often bug infested) blogskins,
it's not as unfriendly as wordpress to us animators (though i hear from web ppl it really is pretty awesome), it's not as fugly as livejournal,
and you can just grab quotes and conversations and publish them as a post easily, and it's just pure yayness.

after much thoughtful thinking and browsing :D finally.

i guess blogger will have to take a backseat for now. hurhur. henceforth, all artworks will be posted there :D and since it's gonna be clean and pristine and heavenly, only links to art related websites will be up there, links to other blogs are no-can-dos :D

YES it is ! It's drawing day today! :D SO DUMP EVERYTHING AND DRAWWW.

it all started ytd when shi han and i went down to clarke quay for some Meidi-Ya, figuring that since we can't go to Japan, the least we cld do is shop for some japanese snacks. I was whining abt how my lunches are always sad boring maggi mee, so he was being a real pie, and bought this for me and secretly stuffed it into my bag :D.
