Japan Media Arts Festival

i am a very happy girl today!
shi han said he wanted to bring me somewhere special; at first i thought he was gonna bring me to the toy museum cos we met up at city hall, instead, he brought me to many art exhibitions he read about from the newspaper! :D super awesome ones at that. Thank youuu (: (: (:

first up were the exhibits at the raffles arcade area, of some pop culture acrylic prints; i thought the choices of colors that were overlaid over each other were really good.

and then there was the Japan Media Arts Festival! You're supposed to pay $3 to get in, but shi han and i just showed our nyp student cards and we got in for freeeee :D yayyy.

*which reminds me :D tat amelie n yong ming are in Japan right nowwww *_* gahh! so envious! take care and have fun!*

is this cool or whatttt. when i first saw it my jaw just dropped. it looked like it just crawled out of a Miyazaki film mixed with some Naruto influence.

we spotted tiny metal plugs on his butt, which wld cause e light bulbs in him (see white bobs on spine n shoulders) to light up ** if only they wld plug him in, he wld be totally wicked.

oh n see this whole series of models?
they're actually scenes in a story about a powerful samurai and some monsters :D very cool, too.


i really like the little detail of his dropped bottle, complete with water splashing out! :D
