third day of cny. i feel....happily tired.

wooshed out of my hse in the morn to have lunch at my mum's cousin's place :( his wife didnt cook her yummy chicken wings this yr, or her delicious soup :( WHY OH, WHY?!

aft tat, we went to watch Fearless at west mall with my parents (its been such a long time since we've watchehd a movie together o_o). and while we were buyin tickets, ARGH. the ticket guy wldn't belive i'm 16 T_T i'm gonna be 18 this yr alredy!!!!! rarr. so i had to dig out my ezlink card to get him to give me a ticket. sigh.

jet li is such a classic! he goes WHAM BAM and the bad guys go POOF. so much energy! the way he fights is almost like a dance *_* so inspiring

aft fearless, i ate some good jap food! i had spicy tempura ramen :p
its sooo sooo good! it was so spicy my nose kept running, but it was running damn happily xD yum yum yum. a bowl of ramen, a side dish, and a drink for 14.50 is worth it, no? and the ramen don't taste like maggi mee o_o some ramens are practically plastic.

aft tat, we had in-hse hazelnut gelato served in the shape of a slice of cake, and mango sorbet, served in wad looked almost like the shape and size of a listerine cap....but a thousand times yummier. xD it had a thin mango flavored white choco coating it, and when u bite into the sorbet, it just explodes mango into ur mouth. oooomph.

started off cny rather diff this yr. woke up to find my parents out of the hse already, so we didnt get to serve them tea accompanied with well wishes, nor did we get to recieve ang baos from their hands.

well, all the girls on daddy's side turned up in pretty dresses! haha. we're cousins, alrite. we think alike. played ban luck (or 21), mahjong and ate till abt 4pm b4 we whooshed off to mummy's side. there, we siblings played monopoly with this guy called jason, whom we don't usually tok to, and HAHA. he made the game so fun! He had an alliance with my lil bro and then proceeded to build a hotel on Piccadily T_T almost killed me when i landed there twice. (and yup. i realise wad a loser i am, playin monopoly with fake money when everyone else is out there dai di-ing with loads of real $$)

and. i just rmbed my grandpa wasnt' ard this yr. maybe it's better this way, no? i rmb the last few new yrs. frailer and thinner each yr. rest well, ye ye! i think nai nai still misses him, although when i ask, she'd prob just brush me away. she'd go, "last time yeye wld help me do this..." i was in form for drawing, the lectures got me motivated to start new sketchbks, we came up with a newer, better pebble pet story, and i went to collect my b&w pumps at far east! xD the best part of that was, i had company! amanda darling x) so nice of her to accompany me x) she's just like, the best bf ever x)

oo! when i reached home, more surprises! i had yummy clear soup, to flush down the yummy oreo cheesecake i had for supper with aman, and daddy got me a new full-length mirror in my room!!! (yea, cld u blive it. i didnt have a single mirror in my room previously...i'm a girl! xP ) yum. alrighty. gtg now. bloggin in sch is dangerous!

i feel like i've gone on a little adventure with my hair. now, the bottom left side is long, and the rest is...short. i feel like a punk. lol. actually, i now look like one!

i don't LOVE my new hair, but i don't hate it either :) it's interesting. lol. oh no! i no longer look guai, so i doubt uncles wld treat me as nice as before. hur hur! i also secretly think aud's gonna kill me for gettin something so boyish. she likes her girlfren girlish...i think. haha.

one thing i've got to say of the hairdreser i got today, May.
her massaging skills are like, superb! not too hard or soft, and at all the right spots on my neck & head too! x) i'd go back again just for the massage.

well, today was a rather unlucky day for me, i'd say. oddly, i think it's v laughable :D lol. i woke up at 8, then forced myself back to sleep, thinking that i hardly get enuff sleep and that i'd wake up in time cos i have my alarm set at 9. when i finally woke up, not to the alarm, but rather to the heat, IT WAS 11.20 am. not bcos i was a piglet! no. it was cos my alarm was set stupidly to 9 PM, not AM :(

o_o horrors. i have to reach sch at 12!!!
so aft my quickest bath ever, i dashed out of the hse at 11.35am. thank god for his blessings: i got a cab rite aft i stepped out of the estate.
oh, bad things don't end there.

we had our dinner aft lecture, and when we got to do the animation room. RARR. all the tables were taken up. there wasn't even one empty chair. rarr rarrr. waste of time! we were so hoping to do finish our animations by today :( see, mr bhakta. it's not that we're hardly workin. there isn't a space for us to. *seeks comfort in my 'plants'* (aman's and mr bhakta's little secret)

then, my second pair of straw slippers broke (again)! so darling aman offered to swap since she lived nearby. and...the worse part was tat i passed some horrid luck to her. she went home with my broken slippers only to find the lifts spoilt. so she walked up 13 floors with MY broken slippers :( sorry aman, my dear.i feel so bad u love me so much. ha! so ironical :(

well, came home and tot abt it all...it just made me laugh :) haha.

RARR. it's been so CRAZY BUSY i didnt even realise the weekend was gone and i keep thinking it's just ytd tat i saw the fireworks and walked halfway home from city hall. i think it was that mentality that sparked the dream i had this morning. i dreamt it was still sunday, and for some unknown reason my sunday was free (now my sundays are fully booked for church activities from 10am-7pm. o_o mind boggling.) and guess whattt??!!!

in the dream, i dreamt i was going to cut my hair in the morning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
then slowly do my assgs in the evening. so when my alarm rang, i jumped up straightaway (the tot of cutting my hair does wonders), thinking "YES. I AM OFF TO CUT MY HAIR AT KIMAGE xD !"

then it dawned on me, tat ytd i spent the real sunday in church, and spent only 45mins doing my ecard assg. *sob* i feel sorry for myself that i cld even come up with such a terrible card. rarr. busier weeks ahead, with about every assg due on week 13, and major assgs at that. rarr rarr rarr!

the only thing i'm not rarr-ing abt....is my saturday spent with my dear mummy :p hurhur! new b&w jailbird-lookalike shirt, new black skirt, new b&w shoes! isn't my wardrobe colorful? hurhur x) ahhhhh~!!! i love shopping.

a terribly late dinner, late enough to be supper, brings to mind several things.

like how a piece of tough meat is good to go down my oesophagus, when it's normally barred till my jaws whine.

my late dinner also brought to mind how cold & light & flat (!) my stomach feels, but, then, my stomach had time-travelled to back when ladies liked having a prosperous body.
almost like how you love your best friend to bits, but its not her call you're hoping for.

it even brought to mind how i'm not doing well in school, how i've faltered from last sem, how i seem to be on a treadmill while others are on a running track. and during my hour long bath, that thought slowly evolved to this:

well, just realised the previous post was quite rubbish and illogical, so i deleted it. i wrote it like, in a minute cos my sis wanted to use the comp. haha. yay! jedis are cute xD

i dreamt of cakes last night. funny, since i nv liked cakes much. there was this white cream cake, chocolate fudge cake, chocolate flakes and bits and pieces of cake all about the place, like cherries and stuff.

hmmm. it's a new year and i shld make some resolutions! erm. so here goes:
*thinks reeeeally hard*

1. be more active in church activities
2. do my hmwk within 3 days of getting it (and not last min work!)
3. be more patient & less short-tempered
4. run/swim at least once a week
5. try to give presents punctually
6. be more helpful, regardless of whether i'm busy or not

yay :) i think six resolutions will be more than enuff for me to keep. i'll stop here.

new year's eve: went to esplanade to watch fireworks!!! xD OMG. all you who didnt go, u missed out on the most spectacular display ever!!!
it was even nicer than national day parade's. this time the fireworks synchronised with the music! for e.g, there was once when the music was slow, almost like a time of reflection for us, and the fireworks shot were golden rain, just slowly falling; almost illustrating the music. SO GORGEOUS.

there were new fireworks toooo! it exploded in golden, then when the gold faded, the tips turned purple, and all the purple glitter just stayed there in the sky, giving you an idea of how much more beautiful spore wld look with a sky full of twinkling stars. xD AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!
i just love it. i love them all. so gorgeous. thank you, God ^_^ !

happy new year: aft all the fireworks were gone, we went to lau pa sat to eat supper! yum yum. had honey roasted chicken, carrot cake, and satays! *damnfull* xD eeee! i love you all: hz aud my sq clar ry xm ch fw love love love. haha. it wldn't be so fun without u all :)

ooo. but i haf yet to narrate the most fun part of my new year's day. aft supper, everyone else except shi qi, chee hoe & i took a ride on meiyin's car. so we three muskerteers went to try flag a cab. IMPOSSIBLE, no matter how we tried.

aft a good deal of time was wasted...
me: "why don't we start walking home already?"
sq: "YES! good idea."

so yup. we started walking............................
from lau pa sat to PSA tanjong pagar o_o. now here, is the start of fun. aft walkin past PSA, there was no proper road anymore. we had to walk through this constrution site. aft walkin under this dark bridge (no lights at all), we had to walk a narrow sandy path under the whole construction site thingy supported by onli a few steel rods. it was really under the construction site, and not on the outside, so it really was kind of scary.

i rmb thinking "Dear Lord, pls protect me from any evil spirits lurking around!" haha. i didnt dare turn to look behind me. but aft coming out from that murky darkness, i start to think to myself, "Who gets to do that?" haha xD so cool

aft tat, we came to the expressway. AYE. no roads, so we walked on the grass. then slowly, there was no more grass, so we walked on the road. haha. we even paused to take pictures with chee hoe's camera to show how we kicked start 2006! woohoo! walkin on the road started to get scary when we turned into an exit, and we became much closer to the cars whooshing past us at 50km/h. *gulps*
we were so grateful to find a path aft tat, and aft crossing a road, we found a cab! (finally!)
so :) that ends my new year adventure 2006 xD but there miite just be a 2007. i'll nv know.
