NEW SHOES !!!WEE! i'm overjoyed :D i was determined not to bring my hole-y sneakers to boston and have it fall apart (memories of broken slippers flash in my mind), so i got my lovely mummy to shop with me as i coughed my way down orchard road. in the end, i bought checkered...erm. shoes. i don't know what you call them. they're not sneakers, they don't have any shoelace :S i was gonna get the polka dotted one, but alas, my luck with shoes are nv good. whatever it is that i reeeeally want, they won't have my size for it.
then i was fascinated by these wedges at charles and keith cos they're so light and comfy, but...=_= there wasn't my size. so we walked abt and decided to go shop at citylink.
there, i spent half an hr
(or more '_') in Charles & Keith alone deciding which shoe to buy even though they had the wedges i wanted in my size =x i'm so fickle! but! there were so many nicer (more elegant =x) heels...and i found one white one that i reaaally liked and was reaaaally comfy, but of cos. don't have my size. haha. so i ended up buying those wedges that look really casual cos it's kinda like made up of strings, but yea :) i still like them. i cld run in them! :D so comfy.
ok. i sound like i don't have a brain and all i can talk about is shoes.
ah wait. before i end my blabber abt shopping, i'd like to say MY MUMMY IS THE BEST MUMMY IN THE WORLD *_* and the MOST PATIENT. i doubt anyone but her wld wait without a single complaint, pay for my shoes, AND still look happy aft i spend half an hr in a shoe shop trying on the same shoe over and over *_* my mum is a
great mum.
i aspire to be like her. hur hur! x)i feel really spoilt today x)
i have decided! that when i die, i want this to be engraved on my tombstone (if there's even space anymore for stuff like that nx time):
"She longed to be close to God :) "
tat wld be an ironical phrase eh :0
(*note*-smiley face is a must)for some reason, i kept hearing this song by eric clapton today. it's now stuck in my head, and i think mr clapton must have been a very sweet guy to be writing sweet songs like this.
It's late in the evening; she's wondering what clothes to wear.
She puts on her make-up and brushes her long blonde hair.
And then she asks me, "Do I look all right?"
And I say, "Yes, you look wonderful tonight."
We go to a party and everyone turns to see
This beautiful lady that's walking around with me.
And then she asks me, "Do you feel all right?"
And I say, "Yes, I feel wonderful tonight."
I feel wonderful because I see
The love light in your eyes.
And the wonder of it all
Is that you just don't realize how much I love you.
It's time to go home now and I've got an aching head,
So I give her the car keys and she helps me to bed.
And then I tell her, as I turn out the light,
I say, "My darling, you were wonderful tonight.
Oh my darling, you were wonderful tonight."
